Katharine is an MS student in oceanography at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego. She did her BS in biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she also competed on the Division 1 Gymnastics Team. In her spare time, Katharine likes to surf, paint, read and walk on the beach.
