Andrew is a Ph.D. student in Applied Ocean Sciences (AOS) with APPG. Having completed his undergraduate and master’s education at UCSD, he specialized in marine applications for engineering design. Previously, he worked with the Jaffe Lab for underwater imaging as an engineer, designing, prototyping, manufacturing and testing novel devices in underwater imaging. He then joined APPG as a R&D engineer, building platforms for acoustic sensing before transitioning to the Ph.D. program.
